 ALAS the cricket section of Kieviten is no more. After a long struggle to keep the section viable it eventually became too difficult a job fighting the constraints of space, membership and finance. The members decided to move en masse to Voorburg Cricket Club (www.voorburgcc.nl) in time for the 2008 season. Voorburg is now the place to come for expat cricket in the Den Haag/Wassenaar area. Many people share great memories of what the club stood for and it's unique blend of extraordinary characters. Farewell to the lapwings!
